Work experience: I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant over 30 years ago and having trained in practice, went on to work in several sectors in industry. I have headed up the Finance / IT and HR functions in SMEs, PLC’s, start-ups and not-for-profit organisations. These businesses have been across several sectors, including manufacturing, service industries and educational organisations. I have always focused on streamlining the processes within the department to provide Management Information in a timely manner to enable business to run smoothly.
Outside of work: I love travelling and am trying to add to the number of countries I have visited. I enjoy being in the countryside and have a couple Labradors who I walk regularly.
Fun Fact: I take part in dog agility with my young Labrador.
